From Global News.
Dozens of cars from a Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) train derailed on Thursday near the village of Champion, Alberta. A total of 34 railcars jumped the tracks around noon, snarling traffic in the region as highway access became limited.
Authorities say there are no reported injuries and no dangerous substances or materials on board the train. Officials at CPKC have not determined the cause for the derailment. The County anticipates cleanup will take a few days to complete.
Jordan Prentice has the details.
