Two security sources in Lebanon told Reuters that senior Hezbollah military official Ibrahim Aqil was killed in the deadly Israeli airstrike in Beirut this week. There was no immediate confirmation of Aqil’s death from Hezbollah, but the militant group confirmed he was supposed to be in the building when it was hit.
