Chad and Alex originally started their mobile car detailing business as a side hustle when they realized that the Corporate America route wasn’t going to bring fulfillment to their personal, professional, or financial goals. What they didn’t realize is that it would turn into a full-time gig that generates $96K per month in revenue.

Chad always had an entrepreneurial spirit, despite not having family own any of their own businesses. After years of working at Indeed.com, one of the biggest tech companies in the world, he felt comfortable enough to start up a side hustle and began running it full time in recent years.

Alex, on the other hand, always believed that financial freedom equals owning a business. In high school, he started his first business centered around teaching with his friend and it successfully. When he started working a job at Indeed.com too and met Chad, COVID hit, and they both had enough time to try and run their own detailing company.

And they both are car enthusiasts, so it made sense to dive into the world of auto detailing.

Originally though, their main focus was on car washing– which wasn’t really turning a profit in the first and second year. It wasn’t until they shifted into mobile detailing that their business really started bringing in monetary results.

In this episode, learn how to achieve good online reviews, the importance of advertising your business early on, ,and how they choose to hire and build relationships with their employees. They also provide strategies to prevent burnout as a business owner.
