Floridians as far inland as Orlando are bracing for impact as Hurricane Milton barrels toward the Sunshine State, two weeks after Hurricane Helene hit America’s southeast.

Milton is expected to make landfall in the Tampa Bay area late Wednesday and could be one of the most dangerous storms to hit this region of Florida in a century.

Atmospheric scientist and senior meteorologist at MyRadar, Matthew Cappucci explains how to prepare for the approaching hurricane.
