After months of being criticized for not pushing Israel harder to avoid civilian deaths in the Gaza Strip, the U.S. is now warning Israel to boost access to humanitarian aid in Gaza in 30 days or risk having some American military assistance cut off.

While Israel relies on American weaponry and funding to defend itself, the Israeli military is repeatedly hitting civilian areas in Gaza while controlling all access to food, water and medicine.
