The woman accused of throwing boiling water on a ten-year-old boy in Longueuil, Que. appeared in court again on Wednesday.

Though a bail hearing was scheduled for Stéphanie Borel, it was quickly postponed due to new evidence that the defence needs to examine.

Borel will now remain behind bars until at least the end of October. This comes as the fourth-grade victim continues to recover from second-degree burns on his face and upper body.
