A new state-of-the-art biomanufacturing facility has opened its doors in Ontario.

The facility in Hamilton, Ont., is the largest in Canada dedicated to potentially life-saving cell and gene therapies. The centre could lead to breakthroughs in treatments for illnesses such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

And as Katherine Ward reports, it could also improve access to advanced patient care.
