‘Citizen Kane’ Sled and Indiana Jones Whip Sell for Big Bucks at Auction

From Inside Edition.

A child’s sled sold for over $14 million at auction this week. But it wasn’t just any sled; it was a key prop from Orson Welles’ classic film, "Citizen Kane." It’s one of the most expensive movie props ever sold. The whip that Harrison Ford used in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" also went up for auction, selling for $575,000. The title for most expensive movie prop ever goes to Dorothy’s ruby slippers from "The Wizard of Oz," which sold for $32.5 million in 2024.
