From DW News.
After years of delays, US electric vehicle maker Tesla has made its long-anticipated debut in India, the world’s third-biggest auto market.
Tesla opened its first showroom in Mumbai this week, with plans for another in Delhi. Spearheading Tesla’s line-up is the Y Model, retailing in India for upwards of 70,000 dollars. Sales of Tesla EVs have fallen sharply this year, as buyers around the world boycott the company over the political views of its CEO Elon Musk.
