A family in Iowa turned its front porch into a food pantry donation site – and donations are booming. The Johnsons live in Waukee, a suburb of Des Moines. A few days ago, they posted on Facebook that their impromptu food pantry was open for business. They told KCCI they were surprised by the response. Brock Johnson admitted to reporters, "The need is actually greater than we even imagined. We came home today and we almost couldn’t get in our house."
