Where to find it?
Heath uses exterior-rated string lights [https://homedepot.sjv.io/QyzY59], which can be found at any home center and simply need to be rated for outdoor use.
To hang the lights, Heath uses a universal mounting kit [https://homedepot.sjv.io/Gmobzn] which includes 4 powder-coated steel poles. Each pole extends to 10 feet tall. Heath uses a drill [https://homedepot.sjv.io/R50Wna] and exterior decking screws [https://homedepot.sjv.io/JzokE2] to secure the base of each pole to the 4 outer edges of the patio.
To hang the string lights: Heath uses a ladder [https://homedepot.sjv.io/WqJOmJ] to carefully hang the wires of the string lights to each metal anchor hook [https://homedepot.sjv.io/da3ym3]. Heath then secures the wires to the hooks using threaded links.
Heath mounts the smart switch inside by drilling two small holes to secure the bracket of the smart switch [https://homedepot.sjv.io/Gmobv6] in place.
To prep the cabinet surface, Mauro cleans the cabinets using degreasing spray cleaner [https://homedepot.sjv.io/eKJno1]. To protect the surrounding area, Mauro lays out a drop cloth [https://homedepot.sjv.io/VmROnj] onto the countertop and tapes off the edges of the cabinets with painter’s pre-taped masking film [https://homedepot.sjv.io/1roGjD].
To smooth out the texture and remove any remaining rust, Mauro and Molly sand the rusted areas of the cabinets with 220-grit sandpaper [https://homedepot.sjv.io/vN1DL3].
To prep the bare metal surface on the cabinets, Mauro and Molly apply rust-resistant primer spray [https://homedepot.sjv.io/75LXAY] for metal surfaces.
To prep the entire cabinets for painting, Mauro and Molly sand the surfaces with 800-grit sandpaper.
To paint the cabinets, Mauro uses a semi-gloss acrylic Direct to Metal (DTM) paint. To apply the paint, Mauro uses 6” foam rollers [https://homedepot.sjv.io/eKJnD1] and applies 2 coats.
