The CDC is investigating 49 E. coli cases across 10 states, primarily in Colorado and Nebraska, linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounders. The outbreaks have led to 10 hospitalizations and one death. Most affected individuals reported eating the Quarter Pounder meal before falling ill.
