Visitors gathered around the golden mask of King Tutankhamun at Egypt’s Grand Egyptian Museum, as the long-awaited Tutankhamun Gallery opened to the public for the first time. While parts of the museum were accessible earlier, this marks the first time visitors were able to enter the boy king’s chamber, the centerpiece of the museum located near the Giza Pyramids.
