From USA TODAY.
Former House speaker Nancy Pelosi revealed on Nov. 6 that she plans to retire from Congress in January 2027 when her current term ends, marking the end of a political career spanning 39 years. President Donald Trump reacted to the news during a White House Oval Office announcement, calling Pelosi an "evil woman" just days after Pelosi called Trump a "vile creature."
"He’s just a vile creature," Pelosi said of Trump during a CNN interview on Nov. 3. "The worst thing on the face of the Earth."
