Edible Slime/ Milk Mochi

From Tasty.

Milk Mochi (aka Edible Glue or Slime) Recipe by @katlieu Ingredients: 1 cup full-fat coconut milk 1 tablespoon maple syrup or granulated sugar, or to taste 2 tablespoons tapioca starch or cornstarch Instructions: 1. In a small saucepan, whisk everything together until smooth. 2. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly with a rubber spatula. Once it is thick, stretchy, and glossy, it’s ready (this will take 8–10 minutes). It should pull easily away from the pan. ✨ Variations: -Matcha Magic: Add ½ teaspoon matcha powder for a green tea twist. -Strawberry Slime: Mix in 1 teaspoon strawberry powder. -Ube Dream: Add a few drops of ube extract or ube halaya for that purple pop. -Chocolate Mochi: Stir in 1 teaspoon Dutch-processed cocoa powder.

Topping & Serving Ideas: -Dust with kinako (roasted soybean flour) and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup. -Sprinkle on crushed freeze-dried fruit, Fruity Pebbles, or popping candy. -Serve warm over sweet toast, pancakes, or with fresh fruit. -Fill boba cups with this gooey mix and add tapioca pearls—slurpable fun! -Use it to “glue” fruit or sprinkles onto rice crackers or cookies.
