In this episode of Roundtable, we hear from four professionals – a death doula, mortician, embalmer and forensic scientist – about their experiences working with the dead. The group discuss how it feels to see a dead body for the first time, the changes that happen to a person when they die and the importance of bringing closure to families. As a group, they unpick why society views death as a taboo and dispel the many misconceptions around death and dying.
