Mexicans gather outside the Forensic Medical Service of Guerrero State after the bodies of 11 people, including two women and two minors, were found abandoned in the back of a white pickup truck. The state prosecutor’s office says it has opened a murder investigation following the discovery in Chilpancingo, where the mayor was beheaded last month less than a week after taking office. Authorities say they are investigating the suspected kidnapping of 17 people, including five minors, by drug traffickers in the same region, though it is not clear if the two cases were linked.
