In major win for Trump, high court rules he has sweeping immunity for acts while in office

From NBC News.

The Supreme Court handed former President Donald Trump a major victory, ruling that he is immune for any "official acts" during his presidency, while also ruling that he has no immunity for private, "unofficial acts." The ruling makes the completion of a trial in Mr. Trump’s federal election interference case almost impossible before the November election. Meanwhile, former President Trump hailed the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling, calling it "a big win for our constitution and democracy," while the White House said that "nobody is above the law" and the country needs leaders like President Biden.
