Meta, Instagram’s parent company, announced its “teen accounts” feature on Tuesday, which aims to put all teens into private accounts that can be messaged, tagged or mentioned only by people they already follow. It comes as Meta has faced increased scrutiny over how minors use Instagram. NBC News’ Savannah Sellers has more.
