Man arrested, 2 others wanted over Brampton Hindu temple protests

Peel Regional police have arrested one man and are looking for two more after a large demonstration at a Hindu temple in Brampton Monday night.

A 57-year-old man has been charged with public incitement of hatred.

Meanwhile, India’s consulate in Toronto is suspending diplomatic work after the violence at the Hindu temple in Brampton.

This comes after a group holding banners in favour of a separate Sikh state in India clashed with others carrying India’s national flag on Sunday.
