Israel said it targeted a Hezbollah weapons depot in Beirut, after rejecting any ‘unilateral’ cease-fire plan. It was the first strike on the Lebanese capital in five days. The strike occurred less than an hour after the Israeli military ordered residents to leave a part of the city. Black smoke billowed from between buildings in the Haret Hreik neighborhood.
