Tim O’Loan, an Indigenous veteran and adviser to the late Murray Sinclair, who died on Monday, shared his connection to the Anishinaabe senator, saying ‘he was like a father figure.’ O’Loan also said he was ’emotional’ after Belgium honoured First World War veterans in a national ceremony on Friday.
