From Global News.
In his first public comments since Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland resigned from cabinet, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre insulted Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, saying the turmoil in Ottawa sends the wrong message to Washington.
"There is the national humiliation…The president of the United States, laughing at our weak, pathetic prime minister. What an embarrassment to all Canadians," he said.
Calling President-elect Donald Trump a "powerful negotiator who can spot weakness a mile away" " the Conservative leader challenged the NDP to stop supporting the Liberals and force an election.
