Richard Trethewey visits Essex Technical High School and finds a school vastly different from tech schools of old. Today they are training kids for a future in the building trades as well as in other subjects such as equine, culinary arts, and graphic arts. He walks into a plumbing class where students are working on basic plumbing projects including piping for heating and cooling. Richard talks with the students and encourages them to stick with it so that they can experience the rewards the job can bring.
