From AFP News Agency.
The chairman of the Georgian parliament Shalva Papuashvili says outgoing President Salome Zurabichvili should ‘submit to the will of the Georgian people’, as she refuses to step down from her position. Papuashvili adds that the outgoing President lost ‘convincingly’ in the October 26 election to the ruling Georgian Dream Party, which has just elected a new far-right loyalist president in Mikheil Kavelashvili. The opposition claim the October elections were "illegitimate".
