A religious leader was sentenced to 50 years in prison. Samuel Bateman pleaded guilty in April to conspiracy to transport a minor for sex and conspiracy to commit kidnapping. Federal investigators say Bateman and at least 10 of his followers traveled across state lines to amass "wives" for him, including minor children. Reports say some of his victims spoke at the sentencing hearing, describing the harm he has caused. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
