The sun sets in Brasilia outskirts amid smoke from forest fires in the northern and central western states. Forest fires have been raging for several weeks in Brazil, particularly in the Amazon rainforest in the north, and in a large area known as the Pantanal, bringing a heavy layer of smoke to many cities and even reaching neighbouring countries.
