An Alaska Airlines pilot welcomed veterans on a flight to Washington DC. The pilot reveals a personal connection: her uncle was one of the veterans being honored on the flight. Veterans on another flight to DC got a surprise when former president Barack Obama greeted the veterans. They also got an incredible welcome in the terminal. An overjoyed 5-year-old ran into her dad’s arms. He’s a staff sergeant who just got back from the Middle East.
