Stanley recalls more than 2.5 million travel mugs due to faulty lids

Stanley has recalled more than 2.5 million stainless steel travel mugs, specifically the ones with the switchback and trigger action. The lid threads can shrink when exposed to heat and torque, causing the lid to detach during use and posing a burn hazard. Consumers should stop using the mugs and contact Stanley for a replacement lid.
