The Opal Lawrence House is said to have hosted outlaw Jesse James on occasion, who would have used it as a lookout across the prairie. The house also boasts a unique painted ceiling, which has been an ongoing mystery to visitors and historians alike. No matter what the answers are, this boldly colorful home is worth a visit.
