Toronto Blue Jays President and CEO Mark Shapiro, alongside General Manager Ross Atkins will hold a season-ending press conference at the Rogers Centre on Thursday.

The Blue Jays won the American League pennant in 2025, falling just short of winning the World Series, losing in Game 7 to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday.

Pitcher Shane Bieber caught many by surprise on Tuesday, opting in to the final season on his contract that will pay him $16 million in 2026 to stay with the team. It was widely expected that Bieber would opt out and receive a $4 million payment before hitting the free agent market where he was expected to command a multi-year deal.
