Trudeau, Modi meet for 1st time Canada since publicly accused India of Nijjar’s assassination

Justin Trudeau was pictured meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G7 summit. Trudeau sidestepped questions about his conversation with Modi, including whether he raised the allegations about the Indian government’s involvement in the killing of Canadian Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, but he said they agreed to co-operate on key issues in their brief chat.
