Donald Trump refused to answer whether he’s spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin since he left the White House. At the Economic Club of Chicago Bloomberg editor-in-chief John Micklethwait asked "Can you say yes or no whether you have talked to Vladimir Putin since you stopped being president?” It comes after legendary Washington Post journalist Bob Woodard reported Trump and Putin have spoken as many as seven times since he left office. NBC News has not independently confirmed Woodward’s reporting.
