From PBS NewsHour.
Remember the FBI raid at the Fulton County, Georgia, election headquarters a few weeks back?
The FBI sought records related to the 2020 presidential election as part of the raid. Donald Trump lost Georgia during that election to Joe Biden, a major flip that helped the Democrat win the White House.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard attended the raid, raising questions about why she would be present at an FBI investigation. Gabbard explained her role in the raid as focused on “foreign or other malign interference in our elections.” The president and his supporters have accused Venezuela and other nations, without evidence, of successfully undermining the 2020 election process.
Is there any evidence of foreign interference in the 2020 election?
PBS News’ Liz Landers followed up with the White House and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Here’s what they told her.
