Transportation is responsible for a between a fifth and more than a quarter of greenhouse gas emissions in North America. But if we’re to tackle climate change in a meaningful way, we also need to look at other sources of emissions.
And to build a truly equitable and sustainable world, we need also need to examine other significant sources of climate change emissions. Agriculture is a huge part of that, with around a fifth of global emissions coming from agriculture, deforestation and other land-use.
So we took the opportunity at Everything Electric to talk to Meeru Dhalwala of Lila restaurant (https://www.lilarestaurant.ca/) about how she’s tackling the challenges of making lower carbon food desirable and accessible.
