On New York City’s mayoral ballot, candidates can be listed twice, if they are the nominee of different parties.
That’s caught the eye of some online, who are questioning why Zohran Mamdani, nominee of both the Democratic Party and the Working Families Party and Curtis Sliwa, nominee of the Republican Party and the Protect Animals Party, are double listed. Others have also noticed that current Mayor Eric Adams is on the ballot, even after dropping out.
