Las Vegas police said a woman was arrested after allegedly abandoning her two-year-old goldendoodle at a JetBlue ticket counter inside Harry Reid International Airport on Feb. 2.

Officers said she failed to complete required paperwork to fly with the dog as a service animal and left it tied to a baggage sizer before heading to her gate.

The dog, later named Jet Blue, was taken in by Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas and placed in foster care.
