Xeriscaping is growing plants with no irrigation. In the Southeast we have hot summers with little rain. Native plants are already built to handle these conditions. Jessie Munson from Lichterman Nature Center in Memphis Tennessee talks about xeriscaping in the Southeast and shows some native plants that do well with hot summers with little rain.
