Chinese president Xi Jinping virtually inaugurates South America’s first Chinese-funded port, in Chancay, north of Lima, with Peru’s president Dina Boluarte. Situated around 50 miles (80 kilometers) north of the capital Lima, the $3.5 billion complex is expected to become a major hub for trade between South America and China.
