As Israel and the U.S. continue their war on Iran, Israel is also taking bold steps to occupy southern Lebanon. Israel says it’s targeting Hezbollah, a Lebanon-based paramilitary group and ally of Iran.
More than 1,300 people have been killed in Lebanon since the start of Israel’s intensified attacks, according to local officials.
And as Redmond Shannon reports, it’s all sparking fears of long-term Israeli occupation.
