NOTE: This video discusses disordered eating.
Comedian Nikki Glaser told Willie Geist that the beginning of her comedy career actually began with a personality change while battling an eating disorder. "I just became a lot funnier than I had ever been before … so I could make friends, and make people forget about what they were looking at."
After discovering her love for comedy, she decided to face her eating disorder head-on. "It was like, Okay, well, let’s figure out this eating disorder, because this is going to stand in my way … it just gave me something to live for."
