Demonstrators in Valencia demand the resignation of the region’s leader, Carlos Mazon, after deadly floods in Spain have killed at least 219 people and left dozens missing, the government said on Friday. Many survivors are furious with the authorities for failing to warn the population on time and provide urgent rescue and relief work.
