From Adam Savage’s Tested.

Adam gets up close with the iconic stop-motion creatures created and puppeted by Ray Harryhausen for films such as Jason and the Argonauts and The Golden Voyage of Sinbad! From the towering Talos to the sword-wielding statue Kali, these lighting test maquettes and preservation castings of the original puppets were all made by Harryhausen himself, showing the legendary effect artist’s design sensibilities and creature aesthetic.
