Japan Street Food tour of Japanese Food Carts called Yatai in Hakata Fukuoka. This must travel Japan food destination, known for its rich traditional flavors, hearty dishes, inspired by its deep street food culture, is truly a dynamic cuisine all of its own. In this Japan feed tour, I’ll take you to some Yatai Food Stall hitters, throw down on a Hakata creamy pork ramen, demolish some scrumptious iron pan fried gyoza and much much more. You haven’t truly experienced Hakata if you’ve never been to Yatai, aka a mobile food stall. There are 105 stalls in the area and Fukuoka is the only city in Japan where it’s thriving as their local regulations permit and support this unique food culture. Hence, you don’t really see Yatai Food Carts in cities like Tokyo.
