U.S. President Donald Trump’s foreign interventions are one of the issues fuelling mass protests this weekend.

Millions of Americans took to the streets Saturday for the latest nationwide ‘No Kings’ protests. Demonstrators condemning the Trump administrations alleged abuses of power and the dismantling of Democratic institutions.

Emotions were especially high in Minnesota, which became the focal point for Trump’s immigration crackdown after federal agents killed two U.S. citizens there.

American music legend Spruce Springsteen and Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro were among celebrities taking part in the protests.

Large rallies also took place in Spain, Italy and including here in Canada where Vancouver and Toronto saw major demonstrations.
