Scientists have developed a universal cartilage scaffold that can trigger the body’s own stem cells to regenerate bone tissue without immune rejection. This off-the-shelf solution uses decellularized extracellular matrix cues to promote endochondral ossification and vascularization, achieving full bone repair in animal models.
