From CBC News.
Artemis II Crew members – Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen and NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch have entered the Orion spacecraft at Launch Pad.
For the first time in more than 50 years, NASA’s Artemis II mission will take the astronauts around the moon. The mission could break the distance record set by the Apollo program, traveling farther from Earth than any human ever has.
Artemis II is expected to lift off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida today at 6:24 p.m. ET.
This launch attempt, the mission’s first, comes after delays in February and March caused by technical issues with the rocket, including hydrogen leaks and a problem with helium flow.
