As the war in the Middle East pushes fuel prices up all over the world, a post circulated in the Philippines claiming one city had a special hookup. “Brunei to Davao” says the caption on a widely-shared video, suggesting that the tiny nation surrounded by Indonesia and Malaysia was sending fuel directly to the Philippine city — but it’s false. What the video shows is a port in Quezon province, over 1,000 kilometers from Davao and city officials told AFP there is no such dialogue underway.
