Imtiaz grew up Muslim. He celebrated Muslim holidays and he ate the foods his family loved. Islam wasn’t just a belief system, it was his entire world.

But privately, he was filled with doubt. He struggled with this silent doubt for years. Until he couldn’t hold it in anymore.

Maysa, a conservative Muslim, wondered why he couldn’t just keep these beliefs to himself. Why speak publicly if it would cause so much pain?
