While the war in Iran escalates, another target of Trump’s maximum pressure campaign – Cuba – is being squeezed by a U.S. oil blockade. Veteran journalist and author David Ariosto says the island nation is “teetering on the brink of a humanitarian crisis.” But he adds that the Trump administration has more “leverage and power” over Cuba than past governments and that this “could be an inflection point.”
